Mzuzu International Academy is a co-education school established, as an essential part of the community infrastructure, for international and Malawian families. Mzuzu International Academy offers instruction in English without discrimination on the grounds of sex, religion, race or parent’s employment. We believe personal development plays a significant role in academic success and therefore aim to educate the whole child. Mzuzu International Academy is a cultural-rich mosaic serving each student by providing a world-class international education, nurturing potential, developing life-long skills, and preparing students for an ever-changing global community. Mzuzu International Academy will inspire individuals to be lifelong learners in a global community
The school follows the Cambridge International Examinations programme leading to the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) in year 11 and A- levels in the sixth form (from September 201). We also have boarding facilities for boys and girls from year 7 onwards but do not offer boarding facilities for Primary School pupils. Presently, the primary school consists of year 3 to 6 and years 1 and 2 will open in September 2015.
